Why Chasing Wildlight Photography?

The name Chasing Wildlight came from a deep love for the way light moves. How it dances through golden hour, catches in wind-tossed hair, and glows around the people (and pets!) we love most. It’s that fleeting, magical light I’m always chasing with my lens—the wild, untamed glow that turns everyday moments into something unforgettable.

When I’m not chasing golden light with a camera in hand, I’m usually juggling one of the two businesses I co-own with my mom, spoiling my army of fur children or hanging out with my husband on a rare night off. I’ve got a soft spot for animals, a collection of tattoos that keeps growing and an undying love for Friends reruns. Life’s busy and beautifully chaotic so when there’s actual downtime, I’m probably at the movies, at a concert or reading on my Kindle.

Since 2010, I’ve been capturing bold, colorful images that tell honest stories. Whether I’m photographing high school seniors on the brink of something big, families wrapped up in giggles, couples saying “I do” in the middle of nowhere or four-legged best friends soaking up the sun, I’m there for the real emotion and the heart behind it all.

Chasing Wildlight Photography is more than a name. It’s a promise to create vibrant, joy-filled images that celebrate your now in all its wild, glowing beauty. Because at the heart of what I do is this: making an artful record of now.
